Avi began his career as a pianist, music director, and sound designer for improvisational comedy. He has worked previously with Montreal's Le Nouveau theatre St. Catherine, Boston's Improv Asylum, Comedy Sportz Philadelphia, and on tour with The Second City aboard Norweigen Cruise Lines. He also worked as the In-market producer/music director of Bye Bye Liver: The Philadelphia Drinking Play produced by The Pub Theatre of Chicago. From that experience he took the leap of writing and producing his own original sketch comedy show, 1 hit wonder, which premiered in the 2013 Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
Aside from theatre Avi also is an active ballet accompanist and has previously worked at The School of the Pennsylvania Ballet, Spectrum Dance Theatre, and currently accompanies at The Pacific Northwest Ballet.
Orignally from Boston, Avi received his B.M. in classical piano performance (class of Dr. Julia Gavrilova) and music theory in Montreal from McGill University in 2009. He also obtained his Masters of Music in Film Composition from The Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program under Emmy Award composer Hummie Mann. Avi is inspired by the collaboration between different artistic mediums. The combination between music and media, allows him to combine his classical training with modern conventions and technology in order to be an effective 21st century musician.

MAX HENRY \\\ PRODUCER, SYNTHESIST & SOUND DESIGNER
Max Henry's compositions draw on a broad musical palette that combine classical, jazz, and indie-rock aesthetics. He has written music for television and film, including: TV5's series "En Therapie" (french language version of HBO's "In Treatment"), Encore Entertainment’s comedy "Peepers,"Tricon's feature length documentary "The Rep," and various TV spots (E!’s True Hollywood Stories, Beautiful People, Restaurant Takeover, etc).
Max is from Toronto, Ontario. He studied jazz drums and piano at McGill University in Montreal. Following an engineering bout at the famous BreakGlass Studios, Max began playing with indie groups “Young Galaxy,” and “Suuns.”
Max currently lives and produces music from his studio in Montreal.
GARRETT OVERCASH \\\ PROJECT MANAGER & PRODUCER
Garrett is a violinist, film composer, and music producer, originating from Arkansas. Garrett Overcash began his career in the music industry in Nashville and has performed with Ray Price, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, and other Nashville acts. Alongside performing, he has been involved in numerous recording sessions in studios such as Ocean Way Studio, Blackbird Studio, RCA Studio B, and other Nashville recording studios.
Garrett now lives in Seattle, WA pursuing film and game composition, music production, and performing. Since moving to Seattle, he has performed with the Federal Way Symphony, Jonah Tolchin, Imeraut, and other Seattle artists. He has performed at many venues around Seattle, including Benaroya Hall and Town Hall.
He graduated from Belmont University in 2011 with a Bachelors of Music with an emphasis in Music Technology. He also won Belmont University's Classical Performer's Competition in 2009, getting the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the Belmont University Symphony Orchestra. In 2014, he graduated from the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program with a Masters of Music in Film Composition.
ALEX GRUBARD \\\ PRODUCER
Joke-teller Alex Grubard grew up in Massachusetts, began his career in New York City and is a recent graduate Temple University in Philadelphia. With his memorable catchphrases, sharp joke technique and absurd character Alex Grubard is a popular and likeable stand-up act. Grubard hosts the game show of sobriety tests Weeding Out The Stoned produced by Good Good Comedy, which is a regular sell out and has been called “highly entertaining.” He also has hosted alternative comedy shows of his creation CURSES!, Electile Dysfunction, and Progress & Congress. Alex is a member of the Philadelphia stand-up comedy cooperative Laughs on Philly which host stand-up nights at rock venues all over Philadelphia. He works regularly at Punch Line Philly and Helium Comedy Club and was a finalist in the Philly’s Phunniest stand-up comedy competition. Now that Alex Grubard has graduated college with a degree in Creative Writing he is busier than even an ivy league student.
In 2016 Alex Grubard was a featured performer at the 1st Lehigh Valley With Love comedy festival at Musikfest. He also hosted the summertime 90s rock party series Bright Radio Game Show. At the start of 2014 Alex was named runner-up for both Best Stand-Up Comedian and Best Stand-Up Bit at the 2014 Wit Out Awards in Philadelphia. In 2013 Alex was the winner of LOL at The Grand Opera in Wilmington, Delaware, performed stand-up on mtvU’s “College Quickes,” and co-wrote the sketch show One Hit Wonder which debuted in the 2013 Live Arts & Philly Fringe. Grubard has been named one of Philly’s “Comics to Watch in 2012,” “Top Philly Comedians of 2011” and “Top 10 Philly Comedians.” He was a fan favorite comic during the 2012 Cape Fear Comedy Festival, the 2nd F. Harold Comedy Festival, 2012 Live Arts & Philly Fringe and 2011 1st Person Arts Festival.
At Temple University Alex was President of TUComedy and led a team of stand-ups to the final 8 in Rooftop Comedy’s College Competition. For Temple Film Collective he wrote and directed the short film The Coca-Cola Conspiracy. Many times on campus Alex Grubard performed comedy including stand-up and sketch comedy in the SNL-styled TUTV show Temple SMASH as well as stand-up on TUTV’s late night comedy talk show Temple Tonight. In 2010 Alex made it into the Final 4 of March Comedy Madness and for one week in September of 2010 Alex’s was Time Out NY’s “Joke of the Week.” Yeah, of the WEEK. His acting has been seen on Comedy Central’s “Web Shows” and his blogging read on The NY Examiner, CampusPhilly and 100inNYC. Grubard is one of the best young stand-up comics on the East Coast. He was on academic probation for only two semesters.
