AVI LASSER \\\ FOUNDER \\\ AUDIO DIRECTOR
Avi began his career as a pianist, music director, and sound designer for improvisational comedy. He has worked previously with Montreal's Le Nouveau theatre St. Catherine, Boston's Improv Asylum, Comedy Sportz Philadelphia, and on tour with The Second City aboard Norweigen Cruise Lines. He also worked as the In-market producer/music director of Bye Bye Liver: The Philadelphia Drinking Play produced by The Pub Theatre of Chicago. From that experience he took the leap of writing and producing his own original sketch comedy show, 1 hit wonder, which premiered in the 2013 Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
Aside from theatre Avi also is an active ballet accompanist getting his start at the The School of the Pennsylvania Ballet. He currently accompanies at both The Pacific Northwest Ballet and Spectrum Dance Theatre.
Orignally from Boston, Avi received his B.M. in classical piano performance (class of Dr. Julia Gavrilova) and music theory in Montreal from McGill University in 2009. He also obtained his Masters of Music in Film Composition from The Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program under Emmy Award composer Hummie Mann. Avi is inspired by the collaboration between different artistic mediums. The combination between music and media, allows him to combine his classical training with modern conventions and technology in order to be an effective 21st century musician.
Now based in Seattle Avi draws from his versatile experience to oversee and continually grow and push Hevanti Productions into defining and creating new ways to use music and collaborate with other mediums. Alongside pursuing composition for film, video games and music production, Avi is currently learning C++ as he builds his growing interest in audio programming. MAX HENRY \\\ PRODUCER, SYNTHESIST & SOUND DESIGNER
Max Henry's compositions draw on a broad musical palette that combine classical, jazz, and indie-rock aesthetics. He has written music for television and film, including: TV5's series "En Therapie" (french language version of HBO's "In Treatment"), Encore Entertainment’s comedy "Peepers,"Tricon's feature length documentary "The Rep," and various TV spots (E!’s True Hollywood Stories, Beautiful People, Restaurant Takeover, etc).
Max is from Toronto, Ontario. He studied jazz drums and piano at McGill University in Montreal. Following an engineering bout at the famous BreakGlass Studios, Max began playing with indie groups “Young Galaxy,” and “Suuns.”
Max currently lives and produces music from his studio in Montreal.
Garrett is a violinist, film composer, and music producer, originating from Arkansas. Garrett Overcash began his career in the music industry in Nashville and has performed with Ray Price, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, and other Nashville acts. Alongside performing, he has been involved in numerous recording sessions in studios such as Ocean Way Studio, Blackbird Studio, RCA Studio B, and other Nashville recording studios.
Garrett now lives in Seattle, WA pursuing film and game composition, music production, and performing. Since moving to Seattle, he has performed with the Federal Way Symphony, Jonah Tolchin, Imeraut, and other Seattle artists. He has performed at many venues around Seattle, including Benaroya Hall and Town Hall.
He graduated from Belmont University in 2011 with a Bachelors of Music with an emphasis in Music Technology. He also won Belmont University's Classical Performer's Competition in 2009, getting the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the Belmont University Symphony Orchestra. In 2014, he graduated from the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program with a Masters of Music in Film Composition.
DOUGLAS YASSEN \\\ COMPOSER & SOUND DESIGNER
Doug Yassen is a Seattle-based musician and composer. He grew up in San Angelo, Texas playing a variety of instruments, namely the cello, piano, guitar and game controller. While living in Lubbock Texas, Doug wrote music for art installations and created atmospheric effects.
He has worked on both films and video games. Most notably in film, Moria Mariella, which was entered into a number of local film festivals, including the Tacoma Film Festival and a short film, Daumenlutscher.
Doug has integrated music in to video games with tracks written for the MMORPG Shroud of the Avatar, which is being developed by Portalarium in Austin, TX. He has written music for the 2014 winner of the Captivate Conference, Elelmentum. Most recently he has written music for Stealth Mode Games upcoming game, Kingsmen, a tactical turn-based medieval warfare game.
Doug has been working as a composer, sound designer and arranger at Hevanti Productions since late 2014. Doug graduated in 2013 from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors of Music with a concentration in Music Composition and Music Education and in 2014 with his Master's of Film Music from SFI.
